We discussed the problem of plastic waste which lands in our seas in the English lessons. We learnt that it really is a big issue. But as you could read in recent newspaper articles the problem seems to be bigger than what everybody thought.

Add what you could find about that topic here.

Ou,@rilana.gienal, this is very interesting. So we see that people do something for our enviroment. But we are not strong enough, if we want to rescue the world. We schould do more and more. But not all the people do something. And the pollution is bigger than the cleanliness.

@noaschmed I agree with you. We must do something. In my opinion reducing plastic is a very good point to beginn. I don’t think we are able to stop using plastic, but we can reduce it.

@noaschmed and @simonet786 I agree with you with the fact that we should reduce the plastic world-wide. I think we should recycle it better. Yesterday I saw on tv that a man build a hotel with plastic bottles. The walls were full of plastic bottles. With the air in it the walls are really firm. That would be a good solution to reduce the garbage, but when we would do this, we should use plastic. But not in a such consume as we use it now.

Plastic is really useful and we use it every day.

But what happens after we throw it away is causing a big problem for our planet.

It's thought more than five trillion pieces of plastic are in the world's oceans and it can take years for it to break down. We need to pay more attention to this problem.

This is a very big issue. We could stop it, or reduce it. There is a lot of possibilitys, for example:we(human) could buy our things without plastic. Or use the plastic bags more than once.
